COVID-19 Update (March 2021)
COVID-19 Update: Recommendation to Return to In-Person Learning
Updated: March 5th, 2021

By: Olivia Martin, CHCS Superintendent
The Collegiate Hall Board of Directors has approved a plan to invite all Elementary School scholars (grades Pre-K and Kinder) back in-person starting April 12th. The plan also includes in-person testing and some in-person culture events for Middle School scholars (grades 4-8), also starting in April.
We are excited to prepare for some students to be in the building and are making careful plans to support ongoing high-quality remote instruction and to protect the health of families and teachers through social distancing, hand washing, and teacher vaccinations. School leaders and teachers are only beginning to plan for this change. We will provide more specific information before Spring Break.

COVID-19 UPDATE - FEBRUARY 2020
Virtual Learning Update:
Collegiate Hall is committed to providing our families with up-to-date information on how COVID-19 affects our school. Based on current COVID-19 data, Collegiate Hall will remain in virtual learning mode through at least March 22. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 data.
If the data and public health experts support a return to in-person learning, Collegiate Hall would return no earlier than March 22. If we return in person, we will provide families with at least 2 weeks notice to prepare.

COVID-19 UPDATE - NOVEMBER 2020

By: Olivia Martin, CHCS Superintendent
Hello Collegiate Hall Community!
Your teachers, school leaders, and Board members are inspired by your resilience and hard work during remote learning and are cheering you on as we continue to learn together from a distance this semester. We hope that each of you is healthy and safe during this challenging season and that you will enjoy safe and happy holidays.
We value every member of our Collegiate Hall Community and are carefully and thoughtfully planning our return to in-person learning with health, safety, and outstanding instruction as our guides.
In light of the dramatic uptick in COVID-19 cases and our commitment to safety and to rigorous instruction, Collegiate Hall will not return to in-person learning before 18 January 2021.
This timeline will allow for:
safety during this season of increasing cases
continued development and consistent delivery of high-quality remote-learning
time and resources to acquire PPE and finalize comprehensive COVID-19 safety protocols
an intentional transition to in-person instruction with the least disruption to learning While everyone is eager to “get back to normal” and learn together in person, we want to be careful and wise about the transition.
Even when our teachers and building are fully prepared to welcome students back, we will base our actual return to in-person learning on the following: Tulsa has been in the OSDH COVID-19 Alert System’s “yellow” category for two consecutive weeks. Collegiate Hall has submitted a comprehensive plan to the Tulsa Health Department and has incorporated THD’s feedback and recommendations into our Safety and Social Distancing Plan.
Be on the lookout for a new family survey next week. We want to make sure all families are supported and heard as we continue remote learning. Thank you for partnering with us as we make every effort to provide an exemplary education for your children during this dynamic school year.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Best,
Olivia Olivia Martin (she/her),
