Dean and Professor of Law, University Of Tulsa College Of Law
Lyn began her career as a teacher of early childhood education in low-income communities after graduating from the University of Wisconsin. She attended Tulane University School of Law, where she served as the notes and comments editor for the Tulane Law Review. She currently serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and is an award winning professor at the University Of Tulsa College Of Law; Lyn has been named the next Dean of the College of Law, and will assume the post in July 2015. She was recognized as University of Tulsa’s Outstanding Professor in 2004-05 and was named an outstanding professor at the College of Law for eight of the last nine years. Her scholarship is primarily focused on capital punishment, constitutional law, and criminal law; she is the co-author of Capital Punishment and the Judicial Process, for which she won the University Of Tulsa College Of Law Outstanding Book Award in 2007. Lyn previously worked as a Law Clerk to United States magistrate Judge Bana Roberts and as a Senior Law Clerk to Judge Charles Chapel.
